The SEO Performance Audit is a full-scope examination of everything that affects your search visibility. Not a template checklist. A manual analysis of your site, your competitors, and your market, delivered as a written action plan you can implement yourself or hand to any developer.
Delivery: Delivered within 5 to 7 business days of access being granted. Includes a PDF report and a 30-minute call to walk through the findings.
The SEO Performance Audit starts where most audits stop. Automated tools are useful but they miss context. A crawler flags a slow page but does not tell you whether fixing it would move the needle for your business goals. We combine automated crawl data with manual analysis to separate the issues that genuinely matter from the ones that can wait.
The technical section of the audit covers crawlability, indexation, site architecture, URL structure, redirect chains, canonical configuration, structured data implementation, and Core Web Vitals. We look at how search engines see your site, not just how your visitors see it. These two views are often surprisingly different.
The on-page section reviews your 20 most important pages in detail. Title tags, meta descriptions, header hierarchy, internal linking patterns, content depth, keyword targeting, and page intent alignment. We identify pages that are cannibalising each other, pages that should be combined, and pages that are well-positioned but need minor improvements to compete.
Understanding your own site in isolation misses half the picture. We analyse three of your closest organic competitors - not by keyword count or domain authority alone, but by the content and link strategies that are actually earning them rankings in your specific market.
The keyword gap analysis shows you which terms your competitors rank for that you do not. We categorise these by search intent and competition level so you can identify quick wins alongside longer-term content opportunities. You will come away knowing not just where the gaps are but which ones to prioritise given your current authority and resources.
The deliverable is a written report in two sections. The first is an executive summary: the most important issues, the estimated impact of fixing them, and a suggested 90-day priority order. The second section is the full technical and strategic detail for each finding, including specific implementation guidance where appropriate.
The report is yours to keep regardless of what you decide to do next. We do not hold back recommendations to upsell implementation. If you can implement everything yourself, the audit stands on its own as a complete guide.
The audit is useful in several scenarios. If you are about to hire an in-house SEO and want an independent view of where to start, this gives them a foundation to work from. If you have been working with an agency and want an honest second opinion on what they have actually accomplished, this gives you that. If you are launching a new site or redesigning an existing one and want to make sure you are not inadvertently damaging your search performance, this catches the issues before they become problems.
The audit is delivered within 5 to 7 business days of us receiving access to your Google Search Console and Analytics accounts. For larger sites, allow the full 7 days. For sites with up to 500 pages, we typically deliver within 5 days.
No. We only need read access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics. We run external crawls of your public-facing site. No CMS login is required for the audit.
You receive the report and the walkthrough call. After that it is entirely your decision what to do. Many clients implement the recommendations themselves or pass them to their developer. Others choose to continue with us on a retainer basis. There is no pressure to do so.
